Report from Sacramento March

Kirsten H. Hill reports on the immigration march in Sacramento on April 10, 2006:

I heard estimates that 15,000-20,000 participated in the march. Professor [Jim] Smith thinks it was the largest event of its kind ever in Sacramento. The rally was well-organized and informative. The march was well-organized and peaceful, yet passionate and powerful. It was incredibly moving to see that kind of mobilization and I am so glad I was able to be a part of it.
