New Pew Study
The Pew Hispanic Center analyzed Census Bureau data for the boom years of the 1990s and the subsequent recession and economic slowdown to determine whether there is a relationship between the growth in the foreign-born population and the employment of native-born workers 16 and older. The analysis looked at the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
