Tn_justin20morneau20and20kim20butlerCanadian Justin Morneau of the Minnesota Twins has been named Major League Baseball’s Most Valuable Player in the American League. Canadian Consul General Kim Butler met Justin earlier this year while throwing the ceremonial first pitch to him at a Twins-Blue Jays game. Butler sent congratulations to Justin Morneau on behalf of the Government of Canada. The Twins’ first game of the 2007 season is scheduled for April 2.
