SG Seeks Cert in Forced Marriage Case

The Solicitor General Paul Clement has filed a cert petition in Gonzales v. Gao.  Download gao_cert_pet.pdf   In that case, the Second Circuit held that women subject to forced marriages may be eligible for asylum.  440 F.3d 62 (2006).
