Rich Mexicans?

In “For Rich Mexicans, Parallel Lives in U.S.,” EUGENE L. MEYER for the New York Times writes of well-to-do Mexican citizens living “parallel” lives in the United States and Mexico.  The story tells of wealthy mexican families living in the United States while the breadwinners remain working in Mexico.  According to the story, “A small but growing group of Mexican citizens are creating parallel lives in Houston. Dallas and San Antonio are other cities of choice. . . . Their motives are more than economic. They are also seeking a safe haven for themselves and their families, away from the threats of kidnapping, ransom and even murder that are routinely directed at wealthy Mexicans.”
