Great High School Assignment!

A Ohio high school teacher has a great assignment for her students.  The students had a role-play project: assume a Latino identity, build an imaginary life in your home country, and develop a workable plan — first legally and then outside the law — to immigrate to the United States.  The class reportedly gained some valuable perspective on the lives of many immigrants.  For the Columbus Dispatch article about the exercise, click here.
