“Pervasive and Serious Problems” at USCIS

The CIS Ombudsman recently issued a report that identified “pervasive and serious problems” within USCIS, including FBI name check delays, backlogs numbering in the millions, an inadequate case management system, inconsistent customer service, and ineffective coordination and communication within the agency.  Click here for a summary of the report and a link to the report.
