Race Matters
A new blog, Race Matters, will feature stories and current developments on the government’s special registration program, and immigration policies that treat people differently based on race, religion, ethnicity, or political association. The goal is to educate the public about a little known program that continues to impact thousands of individuals and their families and motivate the government to reject programs that target foreign nationals for immigration enforcement on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, or political association. Race Matters is being hosted by Fahed Al-Rawaf of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee and Shoba Sivaprasad Wadhia of the Center for Immigrants’ Rights at Penn State Dickinson School of Law* (*affiliation listed for informational purposes only). If you have a story or article to share as a guest blogger, please send it to fahed@adc.org or ssw11@dsl.psu.edu for consideration.
