Immigrants in Vermont!

Over the last 20 years, the United States has seen immigrant communities, often Latino immigrant communities, emerge in regions throughout the United States in places weher there had not previously been large Latino populations.  The Immigration Policy Center reports on immigration facts for the several states that ImmigrationProf has been posting hopefully reveals that immigrants literally are everywhere in the U.S.  Reports over the weekend that ICE is requesting employee documentation from Vermont dairy farmers demonstrates once again this basic fact of modern immigration. Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vt) has questioned the timing of the Vermont investigation and promised to monitor how it proceeds.
