Refugee Protection Act of 2010
Senate Judiciary Chair Patrick Leahy recently introduced the Refugee Protection Act of 2010, S. 3113, which, among other things, would repeal the one year deadline on asylum applications, narrow the definition of “terrorist” organizations, and repeal the BIA’s requirement of social visibility for particular social groups.
