Big Apple Mayor on Immigration
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a champion of immigration and immigrants, gave a speech yesterday at a Council on Foreign Relations symposium on “The Future of U.S Immigration Policy” hosted by Ted Alden in Washington D.C. He called for reforms aimed at using immigration to spur job creation and economic revival. There were also other panels featuring, among others, Alejandro Mayorkas, director of USCIS, Vivek Wadhwa, Alfonso Aguilar and Angela Kelley.
