Immigrants Arrested at NC Legislative Hearing

The news out of North Carolina is that three immigrants wearing T-shirts that said “Undocumented and Unafraid” were arrested at a legislative immigration hearing in Raleigh, North Carolina on Wednesday. They have been charged with disorderly conduct after a demonstration during a House of Representatives hearing on immigration policy. The three reportedly are in federal immigration detention. UPDATE:  Two of those arrested hav ebeen released and one remains in custody.
