DACA Turns One

Can you believe it?  On August 15, 2012, the Obama administration implemented the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) progfram.  The Brookings Institution has a report on the program, which, among other things, finds that more than half a million noncitizens applied for relief under the program with the vast majority from Mexico.  For a report on the study, see Kirk Semple, Study Offers a Picture of Young Immigrants Seeking Reprieve from Deportation, N.Y.
