University of Virginia President Jim Ryan announced yesterday that all students, regardless of citizenship or immigration status, will now be eligible for admission and enrollment at UVA. “Our mission as a university is to attract outstanding students who will make our community stronger and the world a better place,” Ryan said. “We should be open to all qualified applicants – and this decision is an important step in the right direction.”
