The Post-DACA Generation is Here

In 2012, the Obama administration announced the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy.

A new FWD.us report released last week found that around 100,000 undocumented students will graduate high school this spring without access to DACA, work permits and deportation protections, the first time in a decade that a majority of so-called Dreamers will not be eligible. Most of these graduates entered the U.S. after the DACA-required arrival date of June 15, 2007, making them ineligible for DACA protections.
