Passel and Jens Manuel Krogstad for the Pew Research Center offer the most up-to date statistics on unauthorized immigrants in the United States.  The report finds that the unauthorized immigrant population in the United States reached 10.5 million in 2021, a a modest increase over 2019 but nearly identical to 2017.
