Urrea has written the Pulitzer Prize–nominated nonfiction book The Devil’s Highway.  The book truly is a “must read” by anyone interested in life (and death) along the U.S./Mexico border.

Nabhan, an “ethnobotanist, agricultural ecologist, and Ecumenical Franciscan Brother,” is a leading writer about the desert borderlands. His latest book, Against the American Grain: A Borderlands History of Resistance.
