According to the report, the nearly 300,000 people from the 19 impacted countries who came in 2022 contribute extensively to the U.S. economy. In 2023 alone, households led by these recent arrivals earned $3.2 billion in income, paid $715.6 million in taxes, and held $2.5 billion in spending power. They also fill jobs in industries facing labor constraints, such as healthcare, construction, and hospitality.
