Southern Poverty Law Center Report on Guest Workers

The Law Librarian blog highlights a new report from the Southern Poverty Law Center entitled “Close to Slavery: Guestworker Programs in the United States” (here).  Based, on among other things, interviews with guest workers in the United States, the report documents the exploitation of guest workers in our current programs and raises the question whether such problems might well exist in any new guest worker programs created in the name of immigration reform.
