The Graduate School of Education, University of California, Berkeley, invites applications for a faculty position (tenure-track or tenure level) in immigration and education to begin circa July 1, 2006. The search is for an outstanding scholar who will address this agenda in his or her teaching, research, and service. The successful candidate will join a group of faculty who examine issues of teaching, learning, and education through a social and/or cultural lens in our Language and Literacy, Society and Culture area of study, but will also have an important role working with faculty and students in other areas of the Graduate School of Education and the wider university.
