Back to the Future: Its the Economy Stupid!

The Miami Herald that immigration — which consumed recent GOP debates and put Democratic presidential candidates on the defensive — has faded as a key issue for Florida voters. As Florida heads toward the Jan. 29 primary, polls show the slowing economy is voters’ top concern.

And did anyone notice that, as we predicted (it admittedly was not a difficult one to call) Duncan Hunter (click this link to see some unkind comments on Hunter’s candidacy on Wonkette’s blog), second only to Tom Tancredo in the shrillness of his persistent (and annoying) calls for closing the border and deporting “them” all, has dropped out of the race for the presidency.
