Comparative immigration law

Today’s Christian Science Monitor contains an interesting article on Germany’s repatriation of unsuccessful asylum applicants, many of whom have been in that country for years.  The article, which is attached here, provides some food for thought in analyzing the convergences (and divergences) of European and U.S. responses to immigration.
