TPS for Pakistanis

Immigrants rights groups around the country are advocating for Temporary Protected Status for Pakistani nationals who cannot return to Pakistan as a result of the damage to parts of the country from the October 8 earthquake. Under 8 USC 1254a, TPS may be granted to foreign natinals living in the U.S. who cannot return safely to their home countries due to armed conflict and civil unrest, environmental disasters, or other extraordinary and temporary conditions.
