Immigration Appeals and Judicial Review Conference

The Catholic University Law Review presents a symposium: IMMIGRATION APPEALS AND JUDICIAL REVIEW January 30, 2006, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Slowinski Courtroom, Columbus School of Law The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C.

The symposium will address legal and policy issues surrounding immigration appeals at the Board of Immigration Appeals and the United States Courts of Appeals. The participants will discuss such issues as current developments in immigration appeals, the increase in immigration appeals in the courts of appeals, and the effect of the REAL ID Act upon judicial review of immigration appeals and habeas corpus.
