RICO Immigration Case in High Court
Marcia Coyle’s story “into fray over illegal workers” in National Law Journal April 10, 2006 gives the latest on the RICO case involving an employer’s hiring of undocumented workers. The Supreme Court will soon hear argument in the case. The basic arguments appear to be the same as in many RICO cases; the defendant claims that the law was intended to focus prosecutions on organized crime while the drafter, Law Professor G.
