Mexican Repatriation Story

USA Today has an interesting story today (April 5) by Wendy Koch on the repatriation of Mexicans during the Great Depression.  The classic history book on this subject is Francisco Balderrama & Ray Rodriguez’s Decade of Betrayal (1995).   For the story, see http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2006-04-04-1930s-deportees-cover_x.htm

On Thursday, Congress member Hilda Solis (D) plans to introduce a bill that would create a historical commission to look at the repatriation.
