CRS Report On Immigration Litigation Reform

The Congressional Research Service (click here)ssued a report comparing the current law versus proposed changes to provisions concerning immigration litigation reform in several pending major immigration bills.

The bottom line — some, but not all, of the reform proposals call for limiting judicial review of immigration decisions.  This is the case even though Judge Posner, the New York Times, and many others have caustically criticized the Board of Immigration Appeals for its “decision-making” in recnt months.
