Another Effort at More Court Stripping
Earlier this week, Senator John Cornyn introduced a 2nd degree amendment to the DHS appropriations bill that would gut injunctive relief in immigration litigation. If DHS or DOJ improperly implements asylum law or regulations, asylum seekers would have a very difficult time getting appropriate injunctive relief from federal courts if this amendment passes.
