Cal Wins Big Game and Claims Share of Pac 10 Championship
Nate Longshore passed for 217 yards and No. 21 California survived a bitter wind and stubborn Stanford for a 26-17 victory in the 109th Big Game on Saturday. The victory, coupled with USC’s loss to UCLA gives the Golden Bears a share of the Pac-10 Conference championship for the first time since 1975. It was the fifth straight victory for the Bears in their rivalry game with the Cardinal.
