Ninth Circuit: No Premption of State Law Enforced to Protect Undocumented Employee’s Labor Rights

The Ninth Circuit, in an opinion by Judge Stephen Reinhardt, ruled that federal immigration law does not preempt a California law that bars discharge of an undocumented employee without good cause.  As all of Judge Reinhardt’s opinions, it is very thorough.  See it at Download incalza_9_3607.pdf
