Tichenor, Research Professor, Eagleton Institute of Politics and Department of Political Science, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, testified on March 30 before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary, Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship, Refugees, Border Security, and International Law, March 30, 2007.  His testimony (here) offers a nice capsule summary of U.S. immigration history and how it relates to the immigration “situation” we find ourselves in today.
