PRECEDENT DECISIONS OF THE BOARD OF IMMIGRATION APPEALS IN FISCAL YEAR 2007

Juan P. Osuna, Acting Chair of the Board of Immigration Appeals, and Jean C. King have prepared an article on the BIA’s 2007 precdent decisions:  “In its published decisions in fiscal year (FY) 2007, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA or Board) published 40 precedents, more than in any single year since FY 1999. This article summarizes these published decisions (Interim Decisions 3545 through 3585), which covered a broad range of legal and procedural issues that come before the BIA and the Immigration Judges.
