Swati Pandey on the Tancredo Ad

Yesterday, we posted about Tommy Tancredo’s new ad on immigration = terrorism.  Swati Pandey has a nice piece on the Tom Tancredo ad for the L.A. Times.

UPDATE:  Poor Swati is taking it in the teeth in the comments, som of which are impossible to follow the “logic”, to his Tancredo post.  Here is one example:

“Swati, are you nuts or just racist? ILLEGAL immigration is THE #1 issue . Our INDEPENDENT (we’re Dems), coast-coast, border-border research, shows it increasingly so for 2 years now. “Americans” are “consumed” with it, or be consumed “BY” it. Tancredo et al are correct. That’s why Hillary forced spitzer to dump illegals’ licenses. 80% of grassroots NYers fought it. Oh, fences work. That’s why they surround prisons. One more… our research shows what no one else is yet saying. “Racist” ad hominem tripe is playing out, resulting in anger which may cause fighting in the streets next year. Proud, are you?
