Christian Science Monitor: “Legal immigrants to U.S. face endless wait”

We have written often about naturalization delays.  Now the Christian Science Monitor reports on the lenghty delays for “green cards” for those seeking lawful permanent resident status.  The punch lines:  “Immigration has been a hot topic of late. But amid the furor over illegal immigrants, the plight of legal migrants caught in a system that is slow, erratic, and often unresponsive is largely ignored. The result: talented, hardworking people who play by the rules are trapped in limbo, and even close relatives of American citizens may wait up to a decade to enter the US.”

Many restrictionists claim that they are not anti-immigrant, only anti-illegal immigrant.  When will these restrictionists criticize the naturalization (which delays citizenship, and full legal integration, to immigrants) and green card (delaying legal resident status to noncitizens who seek to be in the United States legally) backlogs?
