Southern Poverty Law Center Releases “The Year in Hate” Report

The Southern Poverty Law Center has released a report on “The Year in Hate,” which concludes that, animated by the rhetoric of the nativist movement, the number of hate groups operating in America increased last year to 888, a rise of 48% since 2000. The report profiles the new anti-immigration leaders in 20 short biographical sketches.
