The Visitor

Visitor We previously posted a review of the film, The Visitor.  I finally had a chance to see the film and heartily recommend it.  Besides humanizing immigrants (including Muslims), the movie helps us better understand the real-life impacts of U.S. immigration law and enforcement (including detention) in the post-September 11 era.  We also get to see a professor in a rut come to life and to see the “real world” of immigrants.
