A Report on Visa Delays : Follow the (Lack of) Money

Ali Winston on CityLimits.org has an in-depth story (“MARRYING FOR LOVE? YOU’LL HAVE TO PROVE IT”) that analyzes in some detail the increasing delays in securing immigrant visas, including for for noncitizens marrying a U.S. citizen.  The bottom line is that the increase in federal money going into border enforcement dwarfs that going into services.
