Statue_of_liberty_01 The U.S. evidently understands global competition in athletics.  Indeed, 33 foreign-born elite athletes will reprsent Team USA in the 2008 Summer Olympics in China.  The men’s 1,500-meter squad includes Kenya-born Bernard Lagat, Lopez Lomong (Sudan), and Leo Manzano (Mexico).

Maybe we can learn something about improving our competitive economic edge generally in the global economy from Team USA!
