From the Book Shelves: The Closing of the American Border: Terrorism, Immigration and Security Since 9/11

Save Tomorrow, HarperCollins is releasing a book s entitled The Closing of the American Border: Terrorism, Immigration and Security Since 9/11.  I have not read it yet but the PR for the book says that it tells the story of the internal battles within the Bush administration over border security following 9/11, and the consequences that administration policies have had for many innocent people. The author, Ted Edward Alden , is the former Washington bureau chief for the Financial Times, and the book is based heavily on original interviews.
