McCain/Palin Run Immigration Smear Campaign (in Spanish Language Ads)

Not known for being anything less than a tough campaigner, Karl Rove has criticized the sleaziness of the McCain-Palin campaign.  But nothing has changed!  The campaign last Friday launched a 30-second Spanish-language television ad charging that Democrat Barack Obama and his Senate colleagues torpedoed meaningful changes in immigration laws.  The problem: Obama was on the same side as McCain in supporting comprehensive immigration reform that ultimately failed.  Do McCain/Palin really believe that Latina/os — in Spanish or not — are that dumb?  For more on this story, click here and here.
