Improving Our Asylum System

A new Obama administration will be looking at many aspects of immigration and asylum anew.  Useful and practical reform recommendations are needed.  Human Rights First has issued a report on How to Repair the U.S. Asylum System Blueprint for the Next Administration.   It includes recommendations on detention, gender-based persecution, improving asylum adjudication, and many other steps worthy of consideration.
