It is Holiday Season! Too Many Tamales

Click here for a festive story about a new holiday tradition in East Los Angeles, capital of the Latino Metropolis.   “Too Many Tamales,” an annual holiday show in East LA, is based on the Gary Soto book by the same title (which I read to my children when they were younger). It may not be the “The Nutcracker,” but the story is fun, centered on a wonderful holiday delicacy, and has the requisite happy ending (many tamales are eaten and the missing ring is found).  The show draws “hundreds to a former city jail . . . .”
