Cardinal: End Immigration Raids Now!

AP  reports that the president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, Cardinal Francis George, called on the Obama administration to end immigration raids:  “`I stand with other faith leaders . . . to call on our government to end immigration raids and the separation of families’,” said Cardinal George at a Chicago church.The rally was one in a 17-city series of meetings organized  CardinalGeorge_200_07 U,S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill), a vocal proponent of immigration reform.
