No Child Left Behind? Not!

Last week, we reported on several cases in which the U.S. immigration laws helped divide, not unify, families.  (See, e.g., here).  CNN reports on a similar sad case in Japan, where a 13 year old had to decide between the country of her birth (Japan) and staying with her parents facing deportation to the Philippines.
