Law Professor Kris Kobach (UMKC), a Yale Law grad, has appeared regularly on the ImmigrationProf blog. In the last year, he has argued on behalf of Hazleton, PA’s anti-illegal immigration ordinance in the Third Circuit and against in-state fees for undocumented residents attending California public universities. And he writes provocative immigration law articles, almost invariably for more enforcement, deportations, and against any other kind of reform. Kobach has unsuccessfully run for Congress and has headed the state’s Republican Party. Now, Kobach has announced that he is running for Kansas secretary of state and that combatting voter fraud will be a major issue. Stay tuned!
