On Comprehensive Immigration Reform

Comprehensive immigration reform has a real chance of passing this year. Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid thinks that the votes are there.  Over 300 organizations, including major labor unions, have teamed up to put pressure on Congress. President Obama pledged to pass comprehensive immigration reform during his campaign (http://www.barackobama.com/issues/immigration/).

That said, the anti-immigration forces are *very* loud and organized. President Obama and Congress need to know that the supporters of reform are going to be loud and organized too.
