CIS: Undocumented Immigrants Ruining Environment!

The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS),committed to reducing immigration, has a video on its website attributing environmental damage due to undocumented immigration.  What the video fails to mention is that, besides futile attempts at closing the border, efforts at making our legal immigration laws more reasonablly linked to the nation’s labor needs would go far to reducing undocumented immigration.

It is noteworthy that the new book, The New Case Against Immigration:   Both Legal and Illegal, by CIS’s Executive Director, Mark Krikoran, makes it clear that CIS is not just “anti-illegal immigration,” but anti-immigration generally.  It is common for restrictionist groups to claim that they are only “anti-illegal alien”; this evidently cannot be said by CIS.
