Zelinsky: I am for Sam, I am for Sonia?

Over at the Oxford University Press blog, Professor Edward Zelinksy  (Cardozo) explains why he supported George W. Bush’s appointment of Samuel A. Alito Jr. to the Supreme Court and why he now supports President Obama’s appointment of Sonia Sotormayor. Zelinsky writes that, although he may not agree with all of the decisions of Alito or Sotormayor, both are professionally qualified for the job, regardless of their party affiliations. He believes that Sotormayor has proven that she is prepared for the difficult cases that will come her way in the Supreme Court.
