The Sad Story of Immigrant Suffering in the Recession

Anna Gorman and Rich Connell of the Los Angeles Times tell the story of immigrants who flocked to the once-burgeoning Inland Empire in Southern California (East of East LA for those non-Angelenos) who have been hard-hit in the economic downturn   Construction and service jobs are gone.  Their houses are in foreclosure.  In sum, immigrants are feeling the brunt of the recession.
