The Yale Daily News tells the detailed story (here and here) of a June 2007 immigration raid in New Haven, Connecticut.  It relays the raid’s human impacts as well as the efforts of the immigration clinic at Yale Law School, led by Professor Michael Wishnie, to help the immigrants arrested and their families.
